Registration in the Verum Messenger
Registration instructions. Follow all registration steps to properly use the Verum Messenger app.
- Enter your new login and password in the registration form. The login will only be used to display to your contacts.
- Create a passcode that will be used later to unlock and open the app. If desired, the passcode can be turned off later in the settings.
- Optionally, you can link your email, which, in case of loss of your password, can be used to recover it.

Email binding is optional, but account password recovery is impossible without mail. If you do not link your mail, you need to save your password in a safe place, for example, in a password manager or on paper, so as not to lose access to your account.
- Be sure to save your recovery key in the standard iOS Notes app or in a password manager (which is more secure). The recovery key is required to decrypt messages in all your chats after logging in again or after logging into your account on another device.

If you don't save your recovery key, you will lose all your messages after you exit or uninstall the app!
- After saving the recovery key, your account is ready to use. You can go to the Contacts screen to share your Verum ID or find another.
